Metamorphosis of a wooden clementine box

Yesterday I had a great fun to transform my old clementine box that I used to put the i-don't-know-what-to-do-with-it stuffs. This container was always full with things which later can be good for something, like wooden cheese boxes, corks, vintage pepper grinder etc.


But it was a plain and dull box, so I decided to transform it.

And I have made this:

First I painted red outside and gold inside. For this I used acrylic paints.







After I randomly stamped images from Tim's stamp sets (later I will give you the list if the stamps). Good advice for this: Don't mount the stamps to acrylic bloc, just use the unmounted stamps. Like this you can press the image better to the wooden surface. And one more thing, I used StazOn dark brown ink pad.

At the end I rubbed some dark brown ink to the edges.
