Hello everyone, last time I showed you my tag with a red candle, and now I would like to share with you my card with a golden candle. When I was making my tag and assembling my red candle, I also made a gold one at the same time. And I decided to make a card with that.
So the background of the card was painted with Cracked Pistachio paint first, then I added Salvaged Patina. I inked the edges with Archival inks (Vintage Photo, Evergreen Bough).
I cut out the shelf from white paper, at least three times and I glued them together. I inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink and attached to the card with mini fasteners. Here you can see the back of the panel.
I wasn't satisfied with the background so I muted the colour with diluted Antique Linen paint.
I cut out the greens with dies from the Deck The Halls die set. I coloured them with Evergreen Bough. And these leaves were spattered with Antique Linen and White paint.
Here you can see how I glued one by one the leaves to the shelf.
I painted gold a piece of paper and cut out stars with dies from the Deck The Halls and Festive Things die sets.
The little bow was cut out from a die of the Fireside die set.
For the text I used the Tiny Text Christmas stamp set.
And as you can see here, I added black double sided foam tape to the back of the main panel.
