Tag with PaperArtsy Zinski stamp ZN36

Hello everyone, for the February challenge of the Country View Challenges - Splatters, splashes and drips - I have made a tag with white and brown splatters.

And here is my tutorial.

I cut out a tag with the biggest die from MFT Stitched Tags set. I inked both sides with Ranger Distress Oxide inks (Stormy Sky, Tumbled Glass) and inked the edges with Ground Espresso ink.

Then I took one of my favourite stamps by Paper Artsy, this circle stamp and stamped on the surface to create a pattern. Then I heat embossed with white embossing powder.

After I splattered both sides with Walnut Stain Spray Stain, then with diluted white acrylic paint.

When it was dry, I stamped the image on the tag with Ground Espresso Archival ink.

The image was stamped on Copic paper, then I coloured with Copic Sketch markers. When I was ready with the colouring, I cut out with scissors and glued on the tag.

What I used:

PaperArtsy, Zini stamp, ZN36

PaperArtsy, Eclectica, Emma Godfrey stamp set (Fly), EEG24

MFT Die-Namics, Stitched Tags

Ranger Distress Oxide inks (Stormy Sky, Tumbled Glass)

Ranger Distress ink (Ground Espresso)

Ranger Distress Spray Stain (Walnut Stain)

Ranger Distress Archival ink (Ground Espresso)

Ranger embossing powder (white)

Copic Sketch markers

Idea-Ology, Snarky Sticker Book

Idea-Ology, Design Tape, Travel

Canvas with PaperArtsy stamps

Hello everyone, here I am with the second project for the July challenge of the Country View Challenges. The theme is: Blues and Greens. So I made a canvas using only blue and green colours, apart from the small amount of grey ink for the stamping and white paint.

This is a quite small, 18x13 cm canvas. I painted blue the upper part and green the bottom with DecoArt Americana acrylic paints.

I used the following PaperArtsy stamp sets:

PaperArtsy Zinski Art, ZA13

PaperArtsy Eclectica, EEG24 by Emma Godfrey

PaperArtsy Eclectica, EEG18 by Emma Godfrey (I cut off one circle from the six and I used that for the background stamping)

I stamped them on 300gsm watercolour paper with Ranger Archival Watering Can ink, then I coloured the images with ZigClean and Ranger Distress markers.

I hope you like it!!! And if you have a project with blues and greens together, please don't hesitate to join our July challenge where you can win a £20 voucher!

Christmas banner with PaperArtsy stamps

Hello Everyone, I'm here with the second inspirational project for our December challenge at the Country View Challenges. The theme is: Christmas

This is a quite big, an 18x24 cm banner without the tinsel. For making this big banner, I had to use the Sizzix Plus Banners Framelits dies.

For creating this banner, I stamped the Christmas image onto a Neenah Solar White paper with Tsukineko Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Then following an original Thomas Nast illustration I started to colour my image with Copic Sketch markers. The stamp I used was Hot Pick Xmas 04.

Then I stamped the Merry Christmas text to a watercolour paper with Ranger Archival Potting Soil ink. I cut the text out with scissors and with a brush I adhered watered Antique Linen ink. For this, I used an Antique Linen reinker. The text was part of the Eclectica Scrapcosy 08 set.

The first layer of this card was a watercolour paper and I stamped the snowflakes randomly for creating a background for my Santa. For this, I used the Noel Plate 4 stamp set and to be able to stamp the snowflakes randomly, I cut the snowflakes stamp apart to get 12 individual snowflake stamps. I stamped the snowflakes with Ranger Archival Watering Can ink.

When I was ready with this, again I aged the paper by adding diluted Antique Linen ink on the surface.

For more ageing, I distressed the edges with a knife and inked the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress ink.

Then I toned back the snowflakes and the Antique Linen colour with a little white paint. For this, I always use the Amsterdam White acrylic paint because there's not too much pigment in the paint, so it doesn't cover and make disappear the image underneath. So it's perfect for fading.

I spattered the banner with diluted Vintage Photo ink, I dried the ink with my heat tool, then I adhered the images to this banner.

Then I cut out a second layer from green cardstock and aged the edges.

The next layer was a red cardstock and I stamped the snowflakes randomly around the edges with Ranger Archival Jet Black ink.

I put the banner together, punched two holes for the tinsel twine and added four mirrored stars to the corners of the banner.

Then, for protection, I covered the whole banner with Micro Glaze.

Do you know that this Santa image by Thomas Nast was the first drawing which portrays Santa as a fat, jolly man in a red suit?

If you still have a Christmas project, please don't hesitate to join our challenge where you can win a £20 voucher.

Thank you for stopping by and merry Christmas to you!!!

Confectioner by PaperArtsy

Heres is my card with PaperArtsy stamps (ZA22, EEg24). Earlier this year I have made a similar card with this confectioner that I think worth a look too if you haven't seen it already :-)

For the background and the background stamping, I used acrylic paints.

The text was stamped with Ranger Archival Jet Black ink.

The confectioner was coloured with Copic Sketch markers.

Don't you think that my confectioner has the colours of the Ladurée macarons?

Be humorous! - May challenge at Country View Challenges

Be humorous! - this is the theme of the May challenge of the Country View Challenges. And I'm so lucky that this time I will be your hostess!

I would like to get to know your humorous side. So please use funny and/or crazy images with funny and/or crazy texts! I also appreciate the puns! Please surprise us and make the CVC team laugh!

For making this card I chose a heavyweight (30o gsm) paper. With Tim's stencil and with a texture paste of big grains, I created a brick wall background.

When it was dry, I inked the edges with grey ink (Ranger Archival Watering Can) and I inked a little the bricks as well.

The bird was stamped on 300gsm watercolour paper and coloured with Ranger Distress markers (Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold).

I also stamped the bird onto the walls because when I fussy cut the bird I cut off her fluffy downs.

The text was created by me with Phosphate fonts and I printed it out.

The stamp is from PaperArtsy Zinski Art Zinis ZN32.

Now it's your turn, so if you have a fun project, please don't hesitate to join our May challenge where you can win a £20 voucher!

Card with flowers by PaperArtsy

Today I would like to share with you my floral card.

The flowers were stamped on watercolour paper with Ranger Archival ink (Potting Soil).

I coloured them with Ranger Distress markers (Spun Sugar,  Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn) using watercolour technique.

After colouring, I masked the flowers and I spattered the card with Vintage Photo Spray Stain - not directly from the bottle.

I inked the card edges with Ranger Distress Antique Linen ink.

I used two stamp sets from PaperArtsy: Eclectica, Kay Carley 01, 02.
