Bookmark with little kitten

Hello everyone, let me show you the bookmark that I made for my friends who recently rescued a kitten. Two weeks after she was born, this kitten was separated from her mother. My friends had to feed her with kitten milk replacer for weeks. Now she is 7 weeks old and a completely healthy kitty.

And here is the tag.

What I used:

My Favorite Things, BB Sittin' Pretty stamp set

My Favorite Things, BB New Best Friend stamp set

My Favorite Things, Essential Sentiments stamp set

My Favorite Things, Stitched Traditional Tag Die-Namics

Copic Sketch markers

And here is the little one in my lap. Her name is Losange which means rhombus in English. Isn't she beautiful?

Christmas card with a little boy, a Christmas tree and an angel #2

Here is the pair of my earlier card. This one is for my other nephew, for the blond one.

I did some minor alterations from the earlier one because the boys insist on equality in every way :-)

You can find the supply list on the linked blogpost above.

There's only one difference, here I used the MFT Snow Globe Sentiments stamp set and left out the Make Yourself At Home stamp set.

I hope you like it!!! Thank you for visiting my blog!!!

Quick card with dog and cat by MFT

Once at the Country View Challenges, we had a time challenge (30 minutes or under). That time it was a real challenge for me but when I learned the MFT had a time challenge too I wanted to try myself immediately using the old tricks I developed for this type of challenges.

So here are my 4 tricks:

1. Be ready for the design! You have to figure out the design in advance! Which colours you want to use? How you want to build the card? Which papers you want to use?

2. Be prepared! Put everything (all the dies, stamps, inks, papers) near you, near your hands on the desk!

3. Don't use difficult techniques and colouring! (I have to ignore the Copic and pencil colouring - these take time but the water colouring is okay for me)

4. Don't worry about the mess! You will have time to tidy up or repack everything after the project!

And yet, after all these preparations the time challenge is a real challenge! 20 minutes is very limited!

And now, here is my card for the 20 minutes challenge of the MFT Creative Olympics:

What I used:

MFT, Furever Friends stamp

MFT, Paw Background stamp

Die-Namics, Stitched Circles dies

Die-Namics, Square dies

Crafter's Companion, Neenah Desert Storm paper A4

Ranger Distress inks (Vintage Photo, Antique Linen)

Ranger Archival (Jet Black)

Canson watercolour paper

Ranger Distress markers (Scattered Straw, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Hickory Smoke, Bundled Sage, Spun Sugar)

Here are some pics of the making:

As you can see, I finished my card at 17 minutes and 23 seconds.

With my card, I would like to join the MFT Creative Olympics  Speed Cardmaking event.

A few days ago I posted a birthday card with MFT Furever Friends stamps that was made for my daughter. Now this card is made for my daughter's friend.

Let me share you some interesting details about this friendship: my daughter's name is Eszter and her friend is Estelle. Estelle was born on 15 January and my daughter on 16 January. And I love coincidences like these!

MFT Once Upon a Time

MFT Die-Namics, A2 Stitched Rectangles, STAX 1

Zig Clean and Ranger Distress markers

Birthday card with blue cat

Hello everybody, here I am again with another MFT card that was made for my daughter's birthday. Eszter (my daughter) is a huge manga fan, and she also loves the Japanese cartoons. So the blue cat (and the white too) is one of the heroes of the Fairy Tail manga cartoon, this is why I had to colour the cat blue.

What I used:

My Favorite Things stamp set, BB New Best Friend

My Favorite Things stamp set, Once Upon A Time

My Favorite Things, Die-Namics die, A2 Stitched Rectangles

My Favorite Things, Die-Namics die, Puffy Clouds

Copic Sketch markers

Tsukineko Memento ink, Tuxedo Black

Halloween card with Jack O'Lantern and black cat

I love vintage postcards! Actually I am a collector, mainly of the Christmas cards. Lately I have found on internet some  gorgeous Halloween cards. My eyes caught on two of them, because they were lovely and because I have found inspiring elements in them what I could do myself.

So here are the vintage postcards:

On the first one the gold embossed stars and the text were inspiring to me, and on the second postcard I liked the scene and immediately imagined it with Tim's dies.

And voilà my card:

What I used:

Ranger Embossing Powder, Princess Gold

Ranger Ink Pads (Iced Spruce, Bundled Sage, Hickory Smoke, Faded Jenas, Fossilized Amber, Squeezed Lemonade, Walnut Stain)

With my card I would like to enter the Monday Challenge of the Simon Says Stamp blog: Powder Power.

And I would like to join Brenda Brown's Give Away at Bumblebees and Butterflies too.

Wooden box with Tim Holtz Crazy Cats and Mini Crazy Bird

This morning I could picked up my parcel from the post office and I was so happy because the Crazy Cats and the Mini Crazy Birds stamps were in it! As soon as I got home I started to make a box with them.

I can show you two pictures of the making.

If you need a tutorial, you can have it here.

Painted wooden box with stamped cats

Boite en bois avec les chats russes de Katzelkraft

This box was made one of my nephews. I don't know who this box will belong to but I'm sure that soon I have to make another one to avoid the fighting :-)

I chose cats for the box because around the house the boys have plenty of cats and yes, they have ginger cats too.

I painted white the lid of a big round box with acrylic paints. I put two layers. The diameter of the box is 20 cm.

After I stamped the images with Ranger Archival ink (Jet Black).

I made this ginger colours with mixing two colours (Sienna, Mandarine) of Marabu paint. Can you see that lazy cat who is watching the mouse with one eye?  Funny, isn't it?

In the following picture you can see that I painted grey the mouse and I coloured the tongues too.

With DecoArt chalky finish paint (a kind of grayish blue) I painted the lid. I know that I could put masking paper on the cats but I was too lazy to cut around perfectly four cats and a little mouse, so instead I was just careful around the images :-)
