Vintage Hungarian Christmas cards #128

This is my fourth vintage postcard from the First World War. The card was posted in 1914.

The postcard was printed by B.K.W.I. (Postkartenverlag Brüder Kohn Wien I.). The illustrator of the card was K Feiertag, probably Karl.

The picture shows an exhausted Hungarian soldier sitting in the snow, reading a letter from home. His faithful companion, his horse close at his side. How sad it is!

Vintage Hungarian Christmas cards #46

Well, this is definitely a postcard from the World War I as it was sent from the front, from the 38th division.

The postmark on the back shows 1916 and of course you can see it on the front too.

Vintage Hungarian Christmas cards #44

Now this postcard is really special and it needs a little research. Unfortunately, there's no postmark or stamp on the back, only text and address.  But it seems that it's a World War I postcard.

Anyway, this is a card from one of the World Wars where a poor soldier wishes to be at home with his family at Christmas.
