Bottle tags with snowman

For the holidays, or other celebrations, like birthday, I not only make cards but bottle tags as well. I haven't created one for Christmas this year, so I making it up now. Here are Twig1 and Twig2, the two drinking buddies on two tags :-)

I cut out two tags and coloured the upper part with Tumbled Glass and with Picket Fence paint the lower part. Using Ranger Opaque Matte Texture paste and a snow stencil, I created a snowy background.

The text was stamped with Ranger Distress Archival ink (Black Soot). The bottle is part of a Halloween die set and the trees are from the Home for the Holidays die set.

What I used:

Sizzix Thinlits die, Twig&Stump (666072)

Sizzix Thinlits die, Home for the Holidays (662419)

Sizzix Thinlits die, Regions Beyond (664207)

Stampers Anonymous, Tattered Christmas (CMS318)

MFT Stamps, Wine Tag Die-Namics

And look, how good they look on a Moët&Chandon champagne bottle.

Wine tag with Sizzix Toil&Trouble die

Hell everyone, I'm here with a Halloween wine tag. This time I put the lovely witch from the Sizzix Toil&Trouble set on the tag.

To make this tag, I cut out a wine tag from 300 gsm watercolour paper then I blended different purples (Distress Oxide inks) to the surface. I masked the place of the moon which means I covered that area with the circle I cut out from the tag.

The moon was coloured first with Antique Linen and Picket Fence Distress Oxide inks, then I used the moon mask and I blended Hickory Smoke through the stencil.

I inked the edges with Black Soot Archival ink and made some grass with the Scarecrow stamp.

I spritzed the tag with water, then I spattered with Walnut Stain Spray Stains.

I covered the whole tag with Resist spray. I didn't spray it, I tapped the liquid with a sponge to the surface.

What I used:

Sizzix Thinlits die, Toil&Trouble (665561)

Ranger Distress Oxide inks (Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, Dusty Concord, Antique Linen, Hickory Smoke, Picket Fence)

Stampers Anonymous, Regions Beyond (CMS274)

Stampers Anonymous, The Scarecrow (CMS451)

MFT Wine Tag Die-Namics

etc.

Wine tag with The Scarecrow by Tim Holtz

Hello everyone, My returning readers probably know that I love to make wine tags. Every year, I make Halloween and Christmas wine tags and sometimes for birthdays too. After a long time, I'm here with a Halloween wine tag.

For this tag, I had to do a lot of masking. But first of all, I cut out a wine tag shape from 300 gsm watercolour paper. Then I stamped the scarecrow with Black Soot Archival ink and I masked it. Then I stamped the moon and the maize. Then I masked them too before making the background. Here in this picture, you can see, that I've already masked the scarecrow and the moon.

Then I started to blend Faded Jeans to the top and Gathered Twigs to the bottom.

Then I added some Chipped Sapphire here and there on the top part and Black Soot to the edges. Then I spritzed with water.

When it was dry, I coloured the scarecrow with Distress markers. In the end, I added a layer of Distress Resist. I tapped the Resist medium with a piece of sponge onto the surface. This enhanced the colours and it gave the surface a great protection.

What I used:

Stampers Anonymous, The Scarecrow (CMS451)

Stampers Anonymous, Sketch Manor (CMS408)

Stampers Anonymous, Regions Beyond (CMS274)

Ranger Distress inks (Gathered Twigs, Black Soot, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire)

Ranger Distress Resist Spray

Ranger Distress Archival ink (Black Soot)

MFT, Wine Tag Die-Namics

etc.

Wine tag with vizsla

Hello everyone, I'm here with my first inspirational project for our May challenge at the Country View Challenges. This month the lovely Rachel will be your hostess, so she chose the theme, Cats and/or Dogs.

For this challenge, I created a wine tag with my favourite vizsla stamp.

I cut out a wine tag shape from 300 gsm watercolour paper, then I made a zigzag background with one of the Tim Holtz stencils. For this, I used white embossing powder that I melted with a heat tool.

Then I blended Twisted Citron Distress ink onto the surface. The vizsla was stamped with black Tsukineko Memento ink on Neenah Solar white paper and coloured with Copic Sketch markers.

What I used:

Stampers Anonymous, Crazy Dogs (CMS271)

Stampers Anonymous, Crazy Talk (CMS236)

Stampers Anonymous, Zigzag layering stencil (THS047)

Ranger embossing powder (super fine white)

Ranger Distress ink (Twisted Citron)

Tsukineko Memento ink (Tuxedo Black)

Copic Sketch markers

etc.

So if you have a project with cats and/or dogs, please don't hesitate to join our challenge where a randomly selected winner can have a £20 voucher in the Country View Craft Shop.

Easter wine tags with Bunny Hop die set by Tim Holtz

Let me show you these super easy and quick bottle tags that I made for friends and family.  You only need the Sizzix Thinlits Bunny Hop die set, the Crazy Talk stamp set or/and some text stickers. The wine tags were cut out with one of my favourite MFT Die-Namics die, the Wine Tag. Unfortunately this product is discontinued.

Easter bottle tag with Bunny Games by Tim Holtz

On this tag, all the elements were first made for another project, but then I didn't use them.

The tag was made for a Christmas wine tag but I made and chose another one and this stayed in my stash. For the dots I used silver embossing powder and Polkadot stencil by Tim Holtz. The colour? I don't know exactly but I'm sure it was not just one Distress colour and I spritzed with water.

The bunny was made for a future project but I realised that I need darker bunnies so this one is left out from that project. The main parts of the bunny were cut out from Neenah Desert Storm paper.

The yellow paper of the Easter egg and the banner was made after one of Tim's demos. This one exactly. That time I made 4 pieces of paper in 4 different colours.

The only die set I used for this tag is the Sizzix Thinlits die, Bunny Game by Tim Holtz.

Wine tag with Cozy Winter bear by Tim Holtz

Here is the last Christmas wine tag I made this year with Cozy Winter bear. I'm sure I will do more wine tags with this cute bear because he looks so good with wine bottle in his hand.

For making the background, I used an old and retired stamp and die set by Tim Holtz, the Holiday Joy. I stamped the snowflake with embossing ink many times on the tag, then I heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Then I filled the gaps with dots and for this I cut out one dot from the Inquisitive stamp set.

When I was ready with the embossing, I blended Tumbled Glass ink onto the surface.

If you need tutorial for assembling the bear, you can find it here, in my earlier blogpost.

What I used:

Sizzix Framelits stamp and die set, Holiday Joy (659376)

Stampers Anonymous, Inquisitive by Tim Holtz (CMS432)

Stampers Anonymous, Tiny Text Christmas (CMS424)

Sizzix Thinlits die, Cozy Winter (665574)

Sizzix Thinlits die, Regions Beyond (664207)

Ranger Distress ink (Tumbled Glass, Vintage Photo, Antique Linen)

Ranger embossing powder (super fine white)

Wina tag with Santa by Tim Holtz

Before I share with you my fourth black and white card, let me show you my latest wine tag with Santa from the Vintage Holidays stamp set.

Looking at this picture, I immediately thought of the Cliff Richard's song, "Christmas time, mistletoe and wine".

It was a relatively quick and easy tag.

I just cut out the wine tag from the black and white polka dot paper of one of Tim's Christmas paper stash.

I stamped the image on Neenah Solar White paper with Tsukineko Espresso Truffle ink and coloured with Copic Sketch markers. I just fussy cut the image and glued on the tag.

I was really glad when I found the perfect text for this Santa wine tag. I also stamped this with the same ink on Neenah Paper and coloured the background with Ivory colour Copic marker, then cut it out with scissors.

What I used:

Stampers Anonymous, Vintage Holidays stamp set (CMS423)

Stampers Anonymous, Holiday Postmarks stamp set (CMS323)

Idea-Ology Paper Pad, Christmas Stash 8x8" (TH94085)

Copic Sketch markers

Neenah Solar White paper

etc.

Christmas wine tags with Cozy Winter bear

Hello everyone, I finished another two wine tags. And the Cozy Winter bear is the focal point on these tags too. Here you can see my earlier wine tag

And in green with a little twist.

After I cut out the wine tags I heat embossed with silver embossing powder. For the stencilling, I used Pines stencil by Tim Holtz.

Then I inked the blue with Tumbled Glass bit for the edges I used Stormy Sky and Hickory Smoke. The green was inked with Shabby Shutters and Bundled Sage but the edges with Hickory Smoke and Brushed Corduroy.

The text is part of the Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text Christmas set and was heat embossed with Ranger Super Fine White embossing powder.

I hope you like them!!! Thank you for stopping by!!!

Wine tag with Cozy Winter bear by Tim Holtz

Hello everyone, I'm here again with a fun Christmas wine tag. I just so loved the background I made for this bear earlier that I wanted something else when the bear and this background are together. So I made a wine tag.

If you want to know how I made the background, you can find out from this blog post.

I was so happy when I found a bottle that was the right size to fit the bear's hand. This bottle was in one of Tim's Halloween die sets.

And I think the text are quite funny, as far as alcohol is concerned.

What I used:

Stampers Anonymous, Shifter Tree stencil (THS113)

Stampers Anonymous, Tiny Text Christmas stamp set (CMS424)

Sizzix Thinlits die, Cozy Winter (665574)

Sizzix Thinlits die, Regions Beyond (664207)

Ranger embossing powder (clear, super fine white)

Ranger Distress Oxide inks (Broken China, Cracked Pistachio)

Ranger Distress inks (Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy)

And since I will need more wine tag for Christmas, I have more in the pipeline.

Halloween wine tag with spiderweb and skull

Okay, I promise this is my last wine tag in this Halloween season! No more until next year!

The tag was cut out with an MFT-Die Namics Wine Tag die. I really love the shape and the size of this die.

Then I stamped and heat embossed the spiderweb from Tim Holtz Webs&Damask stamp set. After I blended Distress inks onto the tag, Bundled Sage and then Peeled Paint. But then I wanted to make the colours more vivid, so I also added Twisted Citron.

The edges were inked with Gathered Twigs and Black Soot.

I cut out the skull from 300gsm watercolour paper and then I put Gritt Paste on the surface. When it was dry I smudged it with diluted paints and Distress Crayon. And fussy cut a background paper to place behind the skull. This paper is a retired Kraft-Core paper and as you can see, I sanded a little bit.

The bone was cut into two pieces, because it was easier for me to put it on the tag.

I put double-sided adhesive the back of the bones and skull and I started to adhere them to the tag.

What I used:

MFT Die-Namics, Wine Tag die

Stampers Anonymous, Webs&Damask by Tim Holtz

Stampers Anonymous, Regions Beyond by Tim Holtz

Sizzix Bigz die, Skull and Crossbones by Tim Holtz

Sizzix Thinlits die, Frightful Things

Purple wine tag with Jack-O-Lantern

And I'm here again with another wine tag.

This was the first time I used Tim Holtz Layered Jack-O-Lantern Thinlits die, although I have got this for ages.

I coloured the pieces with Distress inks using the markers and the ink pads. For the first layer, I used Rusty Hinge, then Vintage Photo and because I didn't find it dark enough I added Walnut Stain. The second layer was Rusty Hinge, and I added Vintage Photo to the edges. The third layer was coloured with Spiced Marmelade and I inked the edges with Vintage Photo. The little pieces around the eyes and mouth were coloured with Wild Honey. And every layer was sealed with Distress Resist Spray. Although I've already told it here, I never spray the Resist Liquid directly to my project. I always spray to a plastic sheet and then I add this liquid with a sponge using tapping movement.
I glued them together with Matte Ranger Collage Medium.

For the background, you can find the tutorial, here.

What I used:

Sizzix Thinlits die, Layered Jack-O-Lantern

Sizzix Thinlits die, Frightful Things

Stampers Anonymous, Distress Damask

Stampers Anonymous, Regions Beyond

Ranger Distress ink pads (Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo)

Ranger Distress markers (Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmelade)

Ranger embossing powder (silver, white)
