At The Funkie Junkie blog there's a challenge called 12 tags of Christmas. Until Christmas I have to make 12 tags using Linda's examples as motivations.
This card is the interpretation of Linda's 7th tag.
And if you click here you can see the original tag.
Instead of stencil I used Tim's stamps with the same inks that Linda used (Faded Jeans, Pine Needles). I also used the same frame die with embossing powder, the Poinsettia and the Holiday Greens die.
But here is the supply list:
Stampers Anonymous, Stripes&Holiday (CMS281) by Tim Holtz
Stampers Anonymous, Old Fashioned Christmas (CMS175) by Tim Holtz
Sizzix Bigz Die, Ornate Frame by Tim Holtz
Sizzix Bigz Die, Tattered Poinsettia by Tim Holtz
Sizzix Thinlits Die, Holiday Greens by Tim Holtz
Sizzix Magnetic Die, Mini Cardinal&Poinsettia by Tim Holtz
Ranger Distress inks (Faded Jeans, Pine Needles, Gathered Twigs, Candied Apples, Aged Mahagony)
Ranger embossing powder, Liquid Platinum
Ranger Distress markers
Idea-Ology Seasonal Chitchat Words Sticker Book
mini half pearls, mirrored stars
Ranger Archival ink, Jet Black
Crafter's Companion, Nennah Desert Storm paper
etc...
I hope you like it! Happy crafting!
That's really charming, Monika - lovely background and Father Christmas looks splendid.

What a great take this is! It really inspires me for the tag I've found to be most difficult thus far. Love your Santa image and beautiful vintage details. Hugs, Autumn
ReplyDeleteYour plaid background is absolutely gorgeous! And your Santa image is so beautifully colored. He looks stunning framed up with that wonderdul die cut frame. The poinsettia is the perfect finishing touch. So glad you have played along for Tag #7!

Linda
Monika, my eye was instantly drawn to your plaid background and embossed frame. I've got to check and see if I have that EP; if not, it's going on my wish list! Your Santa image is beautiful as is that really fabulous poinsettia! Hugs!
