Tomorrow I will visit a friend whom I haven't seen for a long time. So I told her that I wanted to give her something DIY present and I asked her what she wanted. A card? A mixed media canvas? A box?
And from my pictures you could have guessed that she chose a box with crazy birds. And because my friend has a husband and a son I put 3 birds on the box.
The lid was painted white with acrylic paint. Then the birds were stamped with Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black) and the birds were coloured with acrylic paint. In the end I put a coat of matte varnish.
The bottom was painted with DecoArt Americana (Indian Turquoise) paint.
