Easter bottle tag with Bunny Games by Tim Holtz

On this tag, all the elements were first made for another project, but then I didn't use them. 

The tag was made for a Christmas wine tag but I made and chose another one and this stayed in my stash. For the dots I used silver embossing powder and Polkadot stencil by Tim Holtz. The colour? I don't know exactly but I'm sure it was not just one Distress colour and I spritzed with water.

The bunny was made for a future project but I realised that I need darker bunnies so this one is left out from that project. The main parts of the bunny were cut out from Neenah Desert Storm paper. 

The yellow paper of the Easter egg and the banner was made after one of Tim's demos. This one exactly. That time I made 4 pieces of paper in 4 different colours. 

The only die set I used for this tag is the Sizzix Thinlits die, Bunny Game by Tim Holtz.

Easter card with Cottontail by Tim Holtz

The last time, I so enjoyed making a patterned background with Easter eggs using Pumice Stone and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide inks that I decided to make another one with some changes, of course. Here you can see my earlier card that I mentioned and there you can find the tutorial as well.

And here is my today card.

Hippity and Hoppity - Easter card

Let me introduce you the two Easter bunnies, Hippity and Hoppity. They are very cheerful and droll young rabbits, also they are best friends. 

Now let's see how I made the background for these merry chaps. 

First of all, I took a 300 gsm watercolour paper and started to stamp eggs with Distress Oxide colours (Speckled Egg, Pumice Stone) randomly. For this, I used the Stampers Anonymous, Bird Feather stamp set. You can also use the Spring Shadows for this. Maybe next time I will do a background with that too. In the end I speckled the background with diluted Ground Espresso Distress paint.

After this, I did some stitching. I don't often do such a thing, just when I have to take out my sewing machine to shorten my new jeans, since I'm a diminutive woman :-) I also inked the edges with Gathered Twigs colour.

The next step was to make an underlayer. For this, I cut out a one size bigger square and coloured the edges with Distress Speckled Egg paint.

The rabbits were cut out with the Sizzix Thinlits, Bunny Hop die from Kraft paper. This is why I could sand the edges.

For the text, I used an old Strip (Sizzlits) die, the Tattered Curvy Banners. The two words of the text were stamped separately. First I inked the Hippity carefully to avoid inking the Hoppity accidentally. For this, I used the Ground Espresso Archival ink. Then I do the same with the Hoppity. I also spattered the banner with Vintage Photo Spray Stain using a brush.

Easter tag with Anthonie by Art Impressions

Hello crafty friends, I hope you are all okay and healthy. At least we have a great hobby so we don't mind if we have to stay at home.

Let me show you my latest project, a quick tag with Anthonie by Art Impressions.

I cut out an egg shape from 300gsm watercolour paper, then I stamped Anthonie with Ranger Shadow Grey Archival ink. I coloured the image with Ranger Distress and Zig Clean markers. With these markers, you can use the watercolour technique.

I adhered my egg-shaped tag to a bigger tag.

In the end, I glued three tiny sequins from the Tonic Studios Nuvo Pure Sheen Sequins, the Diamond bottle.

For the second time it wasn't that hard to make something under 30 minutes as it was for the first time. 

As Valentine's Day is over now I started to prepare for the Easter. So here is my quick egg shaped card:

After I placed the egg and all the Paper Artsy stamps on the Misti Stamping Tool and my background was ready in 6 minutes.

I stamped the flowers with Potting Soil.

Easter shadow box with dies by Tim Holtz

I just finished my Easter shadow box. And because for this I used a toy box of my daughter I would like to enter of the Monday Challenge of the Simon Says Stamp blog: RECYCLE/UPCYCLE STYLE

Here is the box that I used. It was a quite sturdy box so I didn't want to put it into the waste paper bin :-)

Firs I gessoed the box, then I painted white with acrylic paint. When it was dry I started to stenciled. For this I coloured green my white texture paste. 

I tapped Rayher-DecoArt brown patina to the edges then I covered with a layer of Ranger Distress Crackle Paint (Clear Rock Candy).

The inside was gessoed too and painted light blue.

I cut out the shapes from chipboard. Actually I used many layers to give dimension to my elements.

The eggs were painted with acrylic paints, after I put tiny white dots on the surface. In the end I covered with Ranger Glossy Accents.

I put four little flowers in the grass. I inked the edges of the petals with Victorian Velvet and I put tiny half pearls to the middle of the flowers.

Easter greeting

Happy Easter to you all!

On this occasion I have brought you a lovely creation which was made by a Hungarian kindergarten teacher.

All pieces - the huge string egg, the decorated blown eggs and the bunny - were made by this creative and crafty teacher! Many thanks for these amazing present!

Sizzix - Easter egg carton

This is a gift for a very nice lady who helped us a lot. I have made this as a holder of my decoupage blown eggs which are also my gift to this lady.

This was a simple egg carton and I painted on three layers of light yellow acrylic paint. 

To the inside I cut out a rectangle and stamped the Happy Easter on it.

Sizzix - Easter egg paper garland and other decorations

I made these Easter decorations to Eszter's classe but actually these are another version of an earlier paper decoration.

You can find those decorations here and here.

First I didn't put accent circonflexe on the A letter but after I changed my mind and with cutting one of the end of an E letter, I put an accent to write the word correctly.

But I couldn't make a good photo of that.

I made some vertical garlands too.

Eszter's teacher was very happy with them.
