Card with a French chef

At the MFT Card Challenges blog, there is a new sketch challenge, the Sketch 366. I followed the recommended sketch with a little twist and I created a card with the cook stamp of the MFT (MFT Birdie Brown, Recipe For Happiness).

For the background, I used a page from a French cookbook (Recettes express - or something else, LOL). I smeared white acrylic paint onto the surface of the page to tone down the text.

I also inked the edges with Ranger Archival ink (Potting Soil) and with a sponge I tapped white paint on the kraft paper behind the cookbook page.

And since I've never used this stamp and I've never used this sketch too, I would like to join the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Something New.

Thank you for visiting me!!! Happy crafting!!!
