July 7 was our 25th wedding anniversary. I feel lucky not only because we’re still together, but also because we still love each other. I made this card for our silver wedding anniversary.
I took a watercolour paper and I started to blend Distress Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass ink to the surface with a sponge. Then I added Vintage Photo to the edges. Then I spritzed this background with diluted Vintage Photo ink.
The lady and the gentleman are from the Sizzix Thinlits, The Park die set by Tim Holtz (665204). I had to use the backside of the gentleman because I needed another direction of his look and how he is holding his hand.
The balloons were cut out with the Sizzix Sidekick, Side-Order die set, Birthday by Tim Holtz (662703). I coloured the balloons with Lumberjack Plaid. The numbers are from the Sizzix Thinlits die, Alpanumeric Label by Tim Holtz (664177).
You can cut out cute tiny hearts with the Sizzix Thinlits die, Falling Hearts by Tim Holtz (664415).
