PaperArtsy dragonflies by Emma Godfrey

I have made this tag as a second inspirational piece for our August challenge. The theme of this challenge: Blues and greens and my lovely teamie Corrie is the hostess.

I have chosen one of the stamp sets of PaperArtsy, Eclectica EEG24 by Emma Godfrey.

But first of all, I gessoed a chipboard tag. Then I adhered some pieces of sheet music with Distress Collage Medium (matte) and put a layer of white acrylic paint.

After I painted green with a DecoArt Americana paint (I think  Peackock Teal). And toned back with some white acrylic paint that I tapped with a sponge onto the surface.

After drying I stamped the circles and embossed with  Wow! Vanilla Sparkle embossing powder.

For stamping the text I used my Misti platform but if you have Tim's stamping platform that great too. I also heat embossed the text.

The dragonflies were heat embossed too, then I inked with Ranger Distress inks and put a tiny bit of  Perfect Pearls onto the wings.

I added some sequins and a ribbon and that's it!

I hope you like it! And don't forget to join our August challenge where you can win£20 voucher!
