Wooden box with PaperArtsy flowers

Let me show you my latest make, a wooden box with the flowers of the PaperArtsy. More precisely, I used the Eclectica  stamps - EKC01, EKC02 - by Kay Carley.

I painted the top white with acrylic paint (DecoArt White Wash) then stamped the images with Ranger Archival ink (Jet Black).

One of the flowers became a little blurry but it was really not a problem for me as I coloured the images with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. And believe me, the pencils cover and hide everything :-) This is why I very often have to outline the images with black pencils in the end.

I mixed DecoArt colours (Pebble, Williamsburg Blue), watered them and with a sponge, I smeared and tapped them onto the surface of the top.

The bottom of the box was painted with the Pebble colour too. I inked the edges with DecoArt Potting Soil. And I spattered my box everywhere with the White Wash colour.

With my box, I would like to join the December TIMI challenge of the Craft Stamper Magazine.
