Card with wooden background and yellow roses

Today I would like to show you my card with yellow roses.

The roses are from a previous project.

For making the background, I cut out two rectangles from heavy cardstock (250gsm). But I cut into three pieces one of them to imitate planks. Then I cut the pieces a little narrower and smaller and glued them on the rectangle base.

I painted grey with acrylic paint. When it was dry I applied a thick layer of crackle medium. I let it dry and after I painted white.
