This is my second inspirational project for our August challenge. The theme was chosen by the lovely Corrie: Sun, sea and sand.
For the beach hut, I used the Village Dwelling XL die by Tim Holtz but I used only the side part of the house because I didn't want to make it 3 dimensional. So I just cut off the tabs from my house and painted white the corrugated cardboard.
The sandy beach is a torn paper covered with Grit-Paste. When the paste was dry I coloured with DecoArt Multi-Surface Buff Beige. The edge was inked with Distress Brushed Corduroy ink.
What I used:
Kraft paper
Watercolour paper
acrylic paints
Ranger Distress inks and DOX inks by Tim Holtz
Ranger Distress Grit-Paste by Tim Holtz
tiny real shell
So if you have a summer project with sun, sea and/or sand, please join our August challenge where you can win a £20 voucher.
