When I started my first project for our June challenge, I thought that the word robot was created 100 years ago, in 1921 but later I realised that I was wrong it was in 1920 when Karel Capek published his play, the R.U.R. with the new word, robot. Actually, it was Capek's brother who invented this word but it doesn't help me either and doesn't change the fact, that it was in 1920 :-)
So our June challenge is about 100. Because this is the 100th challenges of the Country View Challenges. In June if you want to join our challenge you have to add a 100 to your project. It can be either a number or a written word. And you have to use one of the DT members' creations as an inspiration.
There are other rules too and other options to win this month, so please click here to be well informed about the possibilities.
Well, here is my card with a cute robot who celebrates the CVC 100th challenges.
The robot was coloured with the following Ranger Distress paints: Brushed Pewter, Candied Apples, Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass. I also coloured the 100 with Squeezed Lemonade.
