Halloween card with Count Dracula

Hello everyone, it's already October and we start a new challenge on the Country View Challenges blog. The theme is Harvest or Halloween. And as you can see, I chose Halloween because I made a card with The Count (Dracula) by Tim Holtz.

I can't show you how I assembled the count, because I  was focused when I assembled him that I forgot to take photos. But I link here the video which shows you the steps of how to put the pieces together. I did follow this video too. The only difference that the face of my count is pale cream-beige and not blue. And except the black and white parts, I coloured every piece with acrylic paints.

For the background I chose a Halloween background stamp from Tim Holtz, Webs&Damask. Here I used the Damask. I stamped the image on watercolour paper with embossing ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder. Then I blended Mowed Lawn, and then Rustic Wilderness to the surface.

I cut off the excess, and inked the edges with Black Soot Distress ink.

What I used:

Sizzix Thinlits die, The Count Colorize die (665557)

Sizzix Thinlits die, Fireside (664193)

Sizzix Thinlits die, Santa's Helper (664192)

Sizzix Thinlits die, Frightful Things (664209)

Stampers Anonymous, Webs&Damask (CMS276)

Stampers Anonymous, Noteworthy (CMS446)

Rangers Distress inks (Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness, Black Soot)

Rangers Ditress Archival inks (Black Soot, Ground Espresso)

etc.

So if you have an autumnal or Halloween themed project, please don't hesitate to join our October challenge where a randomly selected winner can have a £20 voucher in the Country View Craft Shop.

With my card, I would like to join the:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Emboss it

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything goes
