For our September challenge over at Country View Challenges - Metal - I have chosen the silver from the metals. And I created a card with silver moon, silver stars and silver spatters.
For this card I mostly used Tim's product but for the background I took many shades of blue acrylic paints and I coloured the 300g watercolour paper with them using brush and sponge as well.
I cut out the silver from chipboard and the stars from the 300g paper. I painted these elements silver (both sides).
When they were dry I heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
The background paper was also spritzed with the Ranger Distress Spray Stain (Brushed Pewter).
First I heat embossed the text directly onto the card but like this it wasn't highlighted enough so I cut out a black rectangle and I made the silver text again.
What I used:
Sizzix Framelits Die, Rectangle
Sizzix Bigz Die, Crescent Moon&Stars by Tim Holtz (658716)
Stampers Anonymous, Crazy Talk by Tim Holtz (SMS236)
Stampers Anonymous, Mini Crazy Cats&Dogs by Tim Holtz (CMS272)
Ranger Distress Spray Stain, Brushed Pewter
Ranger Embossing Powder, Silver
Ranger Distress Markers
Die-Namics die, Pierced Rectangle
DecoArt Dazzling Metallic Paint, Shimmering Silver
I hope you like it! And don't forget, if you have a project which contains metal (in colour or in material), please join our September challenge where you can win a £20 voucher!

Your fun card made me smile, I love the dog's expression and he looks wonderful on the silver moon you created. The pewter spray looks gorgeous against your beautiful midnight blue background that you shaded from all those acyclic paints too 😁. Wishing you a Happy September! J 😊
