Hello crafty friends, I'm here with the second project for our January challenge on the Country View Challenges blog. The theme is, Use one or more squares and the lovely Corrie is the hostess of this theme.
For this challenge, I created a birthday card with glazed squares and of course, I used the Ranger Distress embossing glazes.
First I inked the four small squares with Ranger Distress inks (Broken China, Bundled Sage, Speckled Eggs, Tumbled Glass).
Then I dabbed their surfaces with embossing ink and sprinkled them with embossing glazes (Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Speckled Eggs, Weathered Wood). I melted the embossing glaze with a heating tool.
I cut out one size bigger squares from gold Metallic Kraft paper.
The text was cut out from brown cardstock using the Sizzix Thinlits die, Handwritten Celebrate set.
If you have a project with squares, please don't hesitate to join our November challenge where a randomly selected winner can have a £20 voucher to spend at the Country View Crafts online shop.
Monika this is fabulous, I love these glazed tiles. This TH sentiment pack is my go to set, I'd be lost without it! Take care and have a very happy week, Sue xx
