Tag duo with Mary Poppins

Hello everyone, I'm here with my second project that I made for our July challenge.  This month I'm the host of the challenge so I could choose a theme. And I chose Use a stencil (or two) - it means you have to use at least one stencil in your project but of course you can use two or even more.

My second project is a tag duo with Mary Poppins from the Sizzix Thinlits die set, The Park by Tim Holtz.

First I show you how I made the pink tag.

I cut out a tag from 300gsm watercolour paper with Sizzix Movers&Shapers, Tag&Bookplates die and using the Roses stencil I heat embossed it with Weathered White embossing powder.

Then I blended Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry onto the surface. I inked the edges with Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso. I slightly spritzed with water.

The blue was made with Broken China colour and I placed the stencil a little bit differently.

The lady was cut out from black Kraft-Stock paper.

The butterflies are not those who are in The Park set. I chose a retired and old Strip die, the Butterfly Frenzy. I coloured the butterflies with Squeezed Lemonade, inked the edges with Ground Espresso, then heat embossed with Clear embossing powder.

The texts were in the Small Talk Stickers.

So if you have a project in which you use a stencil or two, please don't hesitate to join our July challenge where a randomly selected winner can have a £20 voucher in the Country View Crafts online shop.

With my tags, I would like to join the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes
