Card with Tiny Toadstools by Tim Holtz

Hello everyone, I'm here with my second inspirational project for our September challenge, Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. Before I start to write my tutorial, that for this card I got my inspiration from Kath Stewart who stamped the toadstools on ATCs. Here you can see her cards. But for the ATCs she chose the Label Frames stamp set by Tim Holtz. Me, I chose the old and retired ATC&Corners Bigz die.

For the background I chose one of my old design, a tag as an inspiration. So I stamped the leaves one by one and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Then I blended Ripe Persimmon and Carved Pumpkin to the surface. I inked  the edges with Gathered Twigs. In the end, I spritzed with water.

I cut out the ATC shape from 300 gsm watercolour paper. I stamped the toadstools with Ground Espresso Archival ink to the ATC and coloured slightly with Distress inks. I spattered with Vintage Photo ink,  and then I blended Distress Glaze to the surface.

The text was stamped on black paper with embossing ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

What I used:

Stampers Anonymous, Nature's Wonder (CMS343)

Stampers Anonymous, Tiny Toadstools (CMS377)

Stampers Anonymous, Tiny Text (CMS394)

Sizzix Bigz die, ATC&Corners (657184)

Ranger embossing powder (Princess Gold)

Ranger Distress inks (Ripe Persimmon, Carved Pumpkin, Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs, Tumbled Glass, Mowed Lawn, Antique Linen)

So if you have an autumn project, please don't hesitate to join our September challenge where a randomly selected winner can have a £20 voucher in the Country View Craft Shop.

With my card, I would like to join the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Emboss it
