Autumn tag with leaves

Hello everyone, here we are in October and we have a new challenge over at the Country View Challenges. The theme is Autumnal colours and/or Halloween the lovely Corrie will be your hostess.

My first project is a tag which has an older "brother" one of my earlier tags. 

Here is my tutorial.

I cut out a tag from 300 gsm watercolour paper and painted with Bundled Sage Distress paint. When it was dry, I tapped  watered Rustic Wilderness paint to the surface with a paper towel. 

I coloured the leaves with original Distress inks and Oxide inks as well. The light yellow was coloured with mostly Squeezed Lemonade and a little Mustard Seed and also a little Vintage Photo. The darker yellow was coloured with mostly Mustard Seed and in the end I added original Distress ink because this way it became darker. The red was coloured with Candide Apple DOX ink and Aged Mahogany (just a tiny) and Barn Door original inks. Sorry there's no photo about the process.

Then I spattered the tag and the leaves with gold paint. I also coloured gold an ear of wheat - although I don't really know what that thing exactly :-) 

As a background of the text, I used cork sheet and fasten the piece with long fasteners.
