Hello everyone, here we are in October and we have a new challenge over at the Country View Challenges. The theme is Autumnal colours and/or Halloween the lovely Corrie will be your hostess.
My first project is a tag which has an older "brother" one of my earlier tags.
Here is my tutorial.
I cut out a tag from 300 gsm watercolour paper and painted with Bundled Sage Distress paint. When it was dry, I tapped watered Rustic Wilderness paint to the surface with a paper towel.
Then I spattered the tag and the leaves with gold paint. I also coloured gold an ear of wheat - although I don't really know what that thing exactly :-)
As a background of the text, I used cork sheet and fasten the piece with long fasteners.
What I used:
Sizzix Thinlits die Alphanumeric 3/4" Tall
Sizzix Movers&Shapers die Tag&Bookplates
Sizzix Bigz die Layered Leaf
Sizzix Thinlits die Fall Foliage
Ranger Distress paints (Bundled Sage, Rustic Wilderness)
Ranger Distress inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Vintage Photo, Barn Door, Aged Mahogany)
Ranger Distress Oxide inks (Candied Apple, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Vintage Photo)
Idea-Ology long fasteners
Idea-Ology Seasonal Chitchat sticker book
gold paint
etc.
If you have a project with Autumn colours please don't hesitate to join our October challenge where a randomly selected winner can have a £20 voucher in the Country View Crafts online shop.
