I'm so lucky, Harrison has arrived to my home, thanks to Susan Seabert and the Country View Crafts! And when he arrived I started to assemble his pieces and then create a card. That's what I made!
Harrison's background with the stripes and stars was made by me. For this, I took a 300 gsm watercolour paper and washi tape ( an IKEA one). I put the washi tape evenly spaced from one another to the watercolour paper. Then I inked with Distress Archival ink (Faded Jeans) the surface. I needed Archival ink because I wanted to use embossing powder after and I didn't want the powder stick to other parts than I wanted.
After that, I used the Shifter Stars layering stencil and white embossing powder to make white stars on the blue stripes. I skipped the area where I wanted put Harrison, nevertheless I embossed half stars to the edge stripes too.
I spattered my paper with diluted Antique Linen ink and Inked the edges with Vintage Photo Archival ink.
What I used:
Sizzix Thinlits die, Harrison Colorize (665218)
Sizzix Thinlits die, Circle Play (663868)
Sizzix Bigz die, Baggage Claim (664439)
Stampers Anonymous, Crazy Things by Tim Holtz (CMS237)
