ATCoins with leaves and a thanksgiving card

Hello everyone, here I am with the second inspirational project for the November challenge of the Country View Challenges. The theme is: Artist Trading Coins.

For this coins, I cut out the smaller coins with Sizzix Thinlits die, Stitched Circles by Tim Holtz. I stamped the leaves from the Stampers Anonymous, Nature's Wonder set with Ranger Archival Potting Soil ink.

And then coloured the leaves with the following Ranger Distress markers: Barn Door, Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint.

I stamped the hashtag texts with Ranger Archival Potting Soil ink from the Stampers Anonymous Hashtags set.

I inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink.

I spattered with Vintage Photo Spray Stain using a brush.

I put a little darker ink to the edges, this was the Gathered Twigs.

I cut out one size bigger circles with Sizzix Framelits die from Kraft Core paper (Nostalgic Selection).

For making these coins I got the inspiration from my coasters I made before with decoupage technique using paper napkins.

Some of you asked me what the ATCoins are for. So for example, like here, you can put them on a card.

The background of this card was made with the Autumn Layering Stencil using Antique Linen Distress ink and a sponge.

I hope you like my project!!! Thank you for stopping by!

And if you are in the mood of creating ATCoins, please don't hesitate to join our challenge where you can win a £20 voucher!

With my coins, I would like to join the:

Artist Trading Coins with Mini Crazy Dogs

Hello everyone, it's November and we have a new challenge at the Country View Challenges blog. The theme is ATCoins. For this challenge, I made five coins with the Mini Crazy Dogs by Tim Holtz.

For making the coins, I cut out the bigger black circles with Sizzix Framelits die, Circles (657551) and the smaller ones (2,5", 6,3cm in diameter) with Sizzix Thinlits die, Stitched Circles by Tim Holtz (662229).

I blended Ranger Distress inks onto the surface to create the background.

I used the following colours: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Broken China, Tumbled Glass, Evergreen Bough, Cracked Pistachio.

I stamped the images from the Stampers Anonymous, Mini Crazy Dogs set by Tim Holtz (CMS272) on Neenah Solar White paper and coloured with Copic Sketch markers. I cut them out with scissors.

I stamped the text from the Stampers Anonymous, Hipster set (CMS288) with Ranger Archival, Jet Black ink.

If you are in the mood for making ATCoins in November, please don't hesitate to join our challenge where you can win a £20 voucher!

I'm derpy! - PaperArtsy Zinski rabbit

When my daughter saw this ATC and this one she told me she wanted to have one, a special one. And she told me her ideas about the card. It has to be pink with white flowers, the rabbit has to be white and he has to wear brown top! And the text has to be this: "I am derpy!" (weird, isn't it?)

But it was me who decided to write this on the back:

I used these stamps of the PaperArtsy: EEG14 (Emma Godfrey: Bloom), Zini 11 (Zinski Mini).

With my ATC, I enter into the ATC challenge of the PaperArtsy blog.

ATC with PaperArtsy rabbit - choose to be happy

This rabbit needs more positive affirmations, so here's my second card.

The making process was the same like here but at this card I used Bahama Blue and Desert Turquoise colours from the DecoArt.

The back of the card looks like this:

ATC with rabbit - affirmation card

Here is my second project, my second affirmation card for the ATC challenge at the PaperArtsy blog.

This rabbit suffers from the lack of self-confidence so she needs a positive affirmation :-) Do you know a rabbit like this?

Here are some pictures of the process:

The Zinski rabbit was stamped on watercolour paper and was coloured with Zig Clean and Ranger Distress markers.

Here is the answer to the question: Can I?

A perfect affirmation card (LOL)!

PaperArtsy ATC - affirmation card

The ATC is a quite small thing :-) But we know that "Small is Beautiful" (from E.F. Schumacher) and I really wanted to join the ATC challenge of the PaperArtsy so I used the dimensions of the ATC to make the best I can do.

For having the exact size I cut out my ATC shape from chipboard with Tim Holtz ATC die.

What I used:

Sizzix Bigz Die, ATC&Corners by Tim Holtz (657184)

PaperArtsy stamp set, Eclectica by Emma Godfrey EEG24 (FLY)

PaperArtsy stamp set, Eclectica by Emma Godfrey EEG18 (DREAM)

sheet music

Copic Sketch markers (for the dragonfly)

DecoArt crackle paste

gesso

white, blue acrylic paint

Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink

Ranger clear embossing powder

I use this ATC as an affirmation card, so I stamped another positive affirmation from the Fly set on the back with some butterflies.

I punched a hole in the left top corner so I can bind it with other affirmation cards using a cord or a binder ring. (I have seen this idea among the PaperArtsy inspirations by Stephenie Ackerman).

With my ATC I would like to also join the following challenges:

- Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge: Winter Blues

- That's Crafty: Feeling Blue

ATC with Tim Holtz seahorses

The last week Eszter was in a one week camp with her class. Most of the kids enjoyed this camp but not Eszter. She cried sometimes because this was the first time that she was away from us for such a long time. I was restless too. Anyway, it's over, we have survived it and luckily this is the past now.

But this ATC is a very special one because I used those tiny shells that Eszter has brought home from the sea. And besides, this is the smaller version of my mixed media canvas with seahorses, so you can find the supply list there.

With this ATC I would like to enter the April Challenge of the Anything but cute blog: Earth Day.

Tim Holtz Crazy Bird on purple background

MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND - this is our theme on the Country View Challenges blog in February. This theme awaits you too, so please join us and show us your special background project.
You can win a £20 voucher!

This ATC was made for that friend whose favourite colour is the purple and who likes to sing.

And here is my tutorial.

With Sizzix Framelits Die I cut out a 10x15 cm rectangle and covered both sides with gesso.

With decoupage glue I attached torn music sheets here and there on the card.

With Tim Holtz Heart stencil and with the Marabu pearl white modeling paste I made some hearts.

With two DecoArt purple (Dioxazine Purple, Purple Pearl) paints I covered the card.

I wiped off the purple paint from the hearts.

I cut out the branch with the Sizzix Bigz Die, Bird Branch by Tim Holtz and painted brown.

I stamped a bird with the Stampers Anonymous Crazy Bird stamp using Ranger Archival ink pad (Jet Black), and coloured with the following Ranger Distress Markers: Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint. But before I started the colouring, I put a tiny amount of acrylic medium onto the eyes and in the end (after drying) I put medium onto the whole bird.

From the Stampers Anonymous Crazy Things Set I chose a hat and I stamped, coloured and cut out. But with scissors I cut into the hat along the line (show in the picture) for inserting the top of the bird's head.

I coloured the hat with Ranger Distress Marker, Squeezed Lemonade.

I cut out the word "hello" with the Sizzix Thinlits Die, Friendship Words Script by Tim Holtz and glued to the top.

I stamped a nice sentiment from the Stampers Anonymous, Perspective set (CMS213) with Ranger Archival Ink.

I made two holes on the top with Crop-A-Dile, Big Bite.

I colored brown the edges of the card.

I covered the whole card with a thin layer of acrylic medium.

I put a purple organza ribbon to the card, so it can be hanged.

I hope you like it! Happy crafting!
