I'm here again with a Halloween card this time. 

The background of this card was created with blending Hickory Smoke, Pumice Stone, Black Soot inks, the original and the oxide versions as well. I also spattered with water and with watered Hickory Smoke. 

The branch was stamped with Black Soot Archival ink.

Wine tag with Sizzix Toil&Trouble die

Hell everyone, I'm here with a Halloween wine tag. This time I put the lovely witch from the Sizzix Toil&Trouble set on the tag.

To make this tag, I cut out a wine tag from 300 gsm watercolour paper then I blended different purples (Distress Oxide inks) to the surface. I masked the place of the moon which means I covered that area with the circle I cut out from the tag. 

The moon was coloured first with Antique Linen and Picket Fence Distress Oxide inks, then I used the moon mask and I blended Hickory Smoke through the stencil.

I inked the edges with Black Soot Archival ink and made some grass with the Scarecrow stamp.

I spritzed the tag with water, then I spattered with Walnut Stain Spray Stains.

I covered the whole tag with Resist spray. I didn't spray it, I tapped the liquid with a sponge to the surface.

Stamped Halloween scene with Sketch Manor by Tim Holtz

Hello everyone, I would like to show you my latest Halloween card which was made just with stamps, no dies at all. 

I created a scene using different Stampers Anonymous Halloween stamp sets by Tim Holtz. I also had to use masking tapes a lot. First, I masked one of the pumpkins.

Then I masked the witch.

Then I started to cover other images.

At this point I started to blend Distress ink onto the surface. I used Antique Linen, Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire to make the sky and Walnut Stain and Ground Espresso for the ground. In the end I inked the edges with Black Soot. Here are the process photos:

Then I started to colour the images with Distress markers.

Here I felt that something was missing from the picture, so I stamped some bats on it.

Then I covered the images again with the masking tapes because I wanted to spatter the background with water. When I was ready with this, I realised that my text was nearly unrecognisable so I stamped the text on a black paper and heat embossed with white powder.

Halloween party - card with dies by Tim Holtz

Here is my Halloween party where Miss Witch, Count Dracula, Mr Frankenstein, Mr Skeleton are among the invited guests. And I needed nothing else to create this scene, just Sizzix dies by Tim Holtz and Ranger inks by Tim Holtz.

Here is how I created this with some photos.

I cut out the figures from black cardstock and arranged them on a watercolour paper panel.

I blended Distress Oxide inks (Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Black Soot) on the surface.

I inked the edges with Black Soot Distress ink.

Then I started to glue the cut-outs on the surface. But something happened with my perfectly inked background above the letter A so I decided to spritz the whole surface with water. And when it was dry, I also added tiny black paint spatters.

And it was not enough for me, I wanted to add some shine so I covered the whole surface with Schmincke Acrylic Fluid Medium. I'm sure you can reach the same result with Glossy Accents but for me in Luxembourg it's easier to purchase the German products :-)

Halloween card with MFT witch

Hello everyone, I would like to show you my latest card that I made for the 2021 Card Design Superstar Challenge of the MFT Stamps. This one if for the Coloring Virtuoso category.

CAS card with MFT witch

During the Card Design Superstar contest of MFT (My Favorite Things) I really got my colouring mojo back, so I made another card with the adorable Witch way is the candy? stamp set.

I coloured the images with Copic Sketch markers but then I complete my colouring with pencils. I hope you like it! 

Halloween card with MFT witch

I made this card for the current colour challenge of the MFT, Color Challenge 104.

I stamped the image on X-Press blending paper with Chocolate Brown Hybrid ink. I used masking sheet to create the scene. I coloured the images with Copic Sketch markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.

The text was stamped with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Witch in the starry sky

I think this is my last Halloween card this year.

The sky was made with acrylic paints (different shades of blue and turquoise) and spattered with silver paint. The edges were inked with black ink.

The moon and the stars were covered with liquid platinum embossing powder, the witch with black embossing powder.

I also covered the edge of the second card layer with liquid platinum.

Halloween wine tag with a witch

Hello everyone, I couldn't resist the new challenge at the Simon Says Monday Challenge: It's a wrap, so I made a Halloween wine tag.

For this, I used the My Favorite Things wine tag die but decorated with Tim Holtz stamps, stencils and inks.

First of all, I took a 300 gsm watercolour paper, the new dot shifter stencil and the Ranger Archival inks (Tiger Lily, Jet Black) and made a dotty background.

Then with diluted Ranger Distress inks (Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy), I gave the tag a vintage look.

When my tag was dry, I stamped the cobwebs (Webs and Damask CMS276) on the tag. After I inked the edges with Ground Espresso and Black Soot inks.

I stamped the witch (Halloween Silhouettes CMS115) on the tag and heat embossed using black embossing powder.

Finally, I stamped the texts on the tag from the Regions Beyond set (CMS274).

MFT witch with spider web background

Hello everyone, I would like to show you my latest Halloween card that I made for the MFT Sketch challenge 401.

I hope you can see that I cut out a rectangle panel from the spider web background then I placed it back and fixed it with a foam adhesive tape.

Art Impressions - Best Witches

I've never experienced such a thing before. None of my Canon cameras reflected the real purple colour of the witch costume. It turned out blue in my every picture. So I had to use my iPhone instead although I've never made good pictures with that before :-)

But I can't deny, my iPhone picture just shows the exact colours.

Earlier I created a nearly similar card.

But here the costume of the witch is purple, not black and here I used the action wobble too. And the spiderweb is silver, not black embossed.

For cutting out the text I used the booty die of this set.

Witching hour - Tim Holtz Witchcraft die

Here is my witch who arrived first to the meeting of the witches in the cemetery. Her silhouette is immense this is why it seems threatening. 

For the background, I wanted something different than my usual grey-black-purple-orange Halloween colours, so I tried the blues instead.

I used these DecoArt Americana paints: Spa Blue, Primary Blue, Grey Sky, Traditional Raw Umber.

I put a layer of DecoArt Crackle Glaze onto the surface.

Halloween canvas - Witch and Haunted House

Can you believe that this canvas is an upcycled project again? Oh yes, I had a canvas with flowers and some bubble stencilling and I didn't like it at all! I like to try new things in crafting, I like experimenting but sometimes I'm not satisfied with the results I achieve with them. 

But I do like this Halloween canvas:

I covered the canvas with tissue paper which was adhered with decoupage glue.

The tree, the house, the fence, the bats all die-cuts from Sizzix  by Tim Holtz. After I cut them out, I tapped black acrylic paint with a sponge onto the surfaces of the die-cuts.

The witch was stamped on a tissue paper, then I glued with decoupage glue. And because it wasn't contoured enough I painted over with acrylic paint.

Halloween porcelain painting with Tim Holtz figures

It was time to make some porcelain paintings for Halloween. For making the patterns for the painting I used the Sizzix Halloween dies designed by Tim Holtz. 

Now I show you how I made them step by step.

1. I cut out the shapes using the following dies:

2. I took a clean plate.

3. I outlined the shapes with a porcelain paint marker.

4. I coloured the shape with brush and black porcelain paint. First I made just a thin layer.

5. When it dried I put another layer black paints.

6. I drew little bats around the edges.

7. I used the same technique to colour the bats.

8. When it was finished I stole my daughter's Rebelle foam bullet (shhh... don't tell her!) to make dots with purple and orange paints.

9. Then I started to make another plate.

10. Onto this place I made smaller dots too with a small size brush.

11. I put them into the oven for 90 minutes at 160 ℃.
