Birthday card for a 16-year-old girl

Hello everyone, I'm here again with a birthday card that I made for a 16 years old girl. The main character of this card is called Whimsy Girl and I bought the stamp a long time ago.

I stamped the girl on Neenah Solar White paper with Tsukineko Memento ink (Espresso Truffle) and coloured with Copic Sketch markers. I stamped dots on her dress because there are no dots on the original version.

In the end, I coloured the image with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. The dots were coloured with silver paint.

The background was made with a Stampers Anonymous Stamp set, Dots and Floral (CMS220) by Tim Holtz. I stamped the dots with embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I smeared Picked Raspberry ink to the surface. I inked the edges with Pumice Stone ink.

For the balloon, I used the Stampers Anonymous Crazy Things stamp set (CMS237). I stamped and coloured the same way as the little girl. The only thing worth mentioning here is that I stamped numbers into the balloon. For this, I used a Lawn Fawn stamp set, Milo's ABC.

For the text, I used Tiny Text (CMS394) and stamped on the same paper I used under the dotted background. Again I used white embossing powder.

Round wooden box with Whimsy Girl

I've already made a tag, a canvas and now I've made a box with Whimsy Girl by StarTrish Design. I just love this image and it works so well with the PaperArtsy dreamer text!

Canvas with Whimsy Girl Three

After I a created a tag with this beautiful Whimsy Girl, I realised that this image deserves to be on a canvas, so yesterday I have made a canvas (13x18cm) with nearly the same supplies.

The other reason why I wanted to make a mini canvas to be able to add the whole text of the Dreamer Set, because it's so beautiful too.

I hope you like it! Happy crafting!

With my canvas I would like to join the TIMI challenge of The Craft Stamper Magazine: Anything goes.

Tag with Whimsy Girl Three by StarTrish Design

Wooohooo! Today I have received my Whimsy Girl what I had been looking for a long time. But last week after a clue (a blogpost over at A Vintage Journey) I had found it on ETSY.

So after receiving my stamp I ran up to my crafting room (to the attic) to make something lovely with this special stamp.

And I have left my crafting room with this tag:

The tag was cut out from heavy weight watercolour paper. I painted yellow with DecoArt Americana Pineapple paint (both sides). Then I stamped the flowers of the PaperArtsy Dreamer Set onto the tag  with DecoArt Americana White Wash paint (both sides).

After drying I stamped the text from the same set with Ranger Archival ink (Jet Black) but I protected with clear embossing powder.

I put a layer of Ranger Distress Collage Medium (matte) onto the tag as a protection (both sides).

The Whimsy Girl was stamped with Ranger Distress ink pad (Hickory Smoke) then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I coloured the girl with Zig Clean and Ranger Distress markers with watercolour technique.

Then I smeared MicroGlaze onto the surface for protection.

She is so beautiful, isn't she?

I hope you like it! Happy crafting!
