Masculine Valentine's Day card with hearts

Here is my latest make, a masculine Valentine's Day card or love card.

For this I took a square, dark blue cardstock and started to emboss  hearts in different sizes and designs. (These stamps are from Florileges Design). For embossing I used Ranger  Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

Then I smeared some Ranger Distress Walnut Stain ink onto the surface.

I spritzed with water and dried it.

I spritzed some Ranger Distress Vintage Photo Spray Stain too and wiped off the ink from the hearts.

I cut out a rectangle shape from a brown cardstock with Die-Namics Pierced Rectangle die, then I stamped one of the texts from Tim Holtz Handwritten Thoughts (CMS218).

I used Ranger Archival Potting Soil ink (this is my absolute favourite dark brown).

I smeared micro glaze onto the surface and attached to the blue square paper with 3D foam tape, so it's a little dimensional.

Here you can see it:

With my card I would like to join:
- the Monday Challenge of the Simon Says Stamp Blog: Be Square.
- the January TIMI challenge of the Craft Stamper Magazine
