Black and white sympathy card

When I was thinking about a design for my second project of the Black and White challenge, a simple but elegant sympathy card came into my mind. So I took Tim's Vines and Roses stamp set, a white cardstock, an antistatic pouch, a stamping platform, a black ink pad and a black embossing powder and I heat embossed these beautiful roses on the card.

The text is from the My Favorite Things, More Essential Sentiments stamp set.

I placed my floral card onto a black card base and it was ready.

If you have a black and white (plus one colour) project, please don't hesitate to join our challenge over at Country View Challenges where you can win a £20 voucher!

Thank you for stopping by!!!

With my card, I would like to join the Craft Stamper Magazine February TIMI challenge: Anything goes

  1. Such a lovely stamp it would be rude to cover it!
I very rarely emboss with black EP... the problem is whatever precaution I have taken I ALWAYS get stray specks! Enjoy your Sunday!

  2. This is beautiful .... black and white is always a classic. Thank you for playing along with the Craft Stamper challenge xx

  3. This is a real beauty Evelyn, and so elegant! Have a very happy and crafty week, Sue xx
