Decoupage for beginners - boxes to the kids’ room

If you are not skilled at doing decoupage, you still can make these kind of boxes. You just have to buy a white and solid paper box, like the KASSETT from the IKEA. You also have to choose a paper napkin with nice patterns.

For this, you don’t have to prepare the surface, you can put the cutouts right away on the box with a small amount of glue.

Some advice:

Use only the top layer from the three.
Be careful this is very breakable!

Start the gluing from the middle of the cutouts.
From the middle to the edge with gentle movements.

Use flat brush (you can use your fingers if it’s necessary - I do the same always)

If you are really beginner, try with small cutouts.

Here are some ideas:

You can hide many objects of you children in these decorative boxes.
