Canvas with hot air balloons - Crackles on Country View Challenges

On the Country View Challenge blog the lovely Evelyn chose the theme for June: Crackle. For this challenge I made a hot air balloon themed canvas with crackled background and you can also find nice crackles on my balloons.
(A Country View Challenges blogon a júniusi téma, a CRACKLE, azaz a repesztés.

This is not my second hot air balloon themed canvas (you can find my older one here) and for this my inspiration was also the  painting of a Hungarian artist, Szinyei Merse Pál.
(Ez már a második olyan vászonképem, amit Szinyei Merse Pál Léghajó című képe inspirált.)

This is so beautiful, isn't it?
(Ugye milyen gyönyörű?)

But unfortunately you have to be content with a tutorial of the children's room version of this beautiful canvas :-)

Well, I took a canvas board. I put a thick coat of texture paste (embossing paste) on the surface with palette knife.

Then I painted the sky using a little piece of sponge and watered blue acrylic paint. I made circular movements with the sponge to apply the blue paint.

Next I made the green part. In this case I made tapping movements to apply the green paints.
(Ezután jött a zöld rész, itt zöld akrilfestéket ütögettem egy szivaccsal a vászonba.)

Then with a sponge I add green acrylic paint to my tree stamps and a little brown onto the tree trunk and I stamped. I used the tree stamps of the Crafty Individuals.
A fákhoz a Crafty Individulas guminyomdáit használtam.)

After this I created the clouds. For making clouds you can draw it by yourself (I did it like this) or you can use stencils. If you have cloud stencil it's great, but if you don't have any but you have cloud die you can use the negative of the die-cut as a stencil.
(Ezután következtek a felhők.

Press the negative onto the surface and use tapping movements with a sponge to create the cloud.
(Nyomjátok a negatívot a képre, és nyomkodjatok fehér festéket a kivágásba.)

But I wanted bigger and more airy clouds so I painted by myself in the end.
(Mivel én nagyobb felhőket szerettem volna, én magam festettem meg a felhőket.)

Now we arrived to the crackling part. To achieve crackles I put a thick layer of DecoArt Crackle Glaze on the whole canvas.
(Most érkeztünk el a repesztéshez.

In my picture you can see how does it look like after applying the crackle glaze. I let it air dry.
(A képen láthatjátok, hogy azután miután felvittem a repesztőmediumot, hogyan kell kinéznie a vászonnak.)

When it dried nice crackles appeared all over the canvas.
(Miután megszáradt szép nagy repedések keletkeztek a képen.)

For the balloons I used the dies of the Elizabeth Craft Design. But on the Country View Craft you can find other hot air balloon dies (Sizzix by Brenda Walton, Cheery Lynn, Cheery Lynn Steampunk Series). I painted the balloons with acrylic paint.
(A léghajókhoz az Elizabeth Craft Design vágósablonját használtam, de más gyártóknál is találhattok léghajókat.)

After the colouring I glued the balloons on the canvas and I applied a layer of Ranger Crackle Accents on the balloons.
(Miután kiszíneztem a léghajókat, ráragasztottam a vászonra, majd Ranger Crackle Accents-et vittem fel rá.)

After drying I rubbed a little white paint into the crackles.
(Miután megszáradt a léghajón a repesztőmedium fehér festéket kentem a repedésekbe.)

I hope you like it! Happy crafting!

(Remélem tetszett! Kellemes kreatvkodást!)

And if you make something with crackles don't hesitate to upload your image to the Country View Challenges Blog, with this you can win a £20 voucher!

With this canvas I would like to enter the Anything But Cute blog: Celebrate your style.

P.S. I'm sure you realized that I translated my text to Hungarian. It's because I don't have more energy for the double posting and editing on two different blogs in the same theme.
Sajnos nincs erőm duplán szerkeszteni két különböző blogra ugyanazt a témát. Szóval mostantól itt találhatjátok a magyar szöveget az alkotásaimhoz.)
