Halloween card with Jack O'Lantern and black cat

I love vintage postcards! Actually I am a collector, mainly of the Christmas cards. Lately I have found on internet some  gorgeous Halloween cards. My eyes caught on two of them, because they were lovely and because I have found inspiring elements in them what I could do myself.

So here are the vintage postcards:

On the first one the gold embossed stars and the text were inspiring to me, and on the second postcard I liked the scene and immediately imagined it with Tim's dies.

And voilà my card:

What I used:

Ranger Embossing Powder, Princess Gold

Ranger Ink Pads (Iced Spruce, Bundled Sage, Hickory Smoke, Faded Jenas, Fossilized Amber, Squeezed Lemonade, Walnut Stain)

With my card I would like to enter the Monday Challenge of the Simon Says Stamp blog: Powder Power.

And I would like to join Brenda Brown's Give Away at Bumblebees and Butterflies too.

  1. Fabulous inspiration postcards and a fantastic creation you made from them both. Love the cat seemingly hissing at the pumpkin which looks as though he's laughing back at him and the harvest moon looks amazing.

Thanks so much for linking this to my Halloween give-away and the shout out.
